Gender in the NDCs
NDC Equity Tracker
Care About Climate’s NDC Equity Tracker, developed in partnership with EmpoderaClima, provides both a platform and key education structures for international youth to develop local analysis, criticism, and suggestions for growth on their countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (or NDCs).
This project highlights our youth corps’ unique knowledge of country-specific circumstances, elevates voices frequently underrepresented in international policy, and implements the “Common but Differentiated Responsibilities and Respective Capabilities” framework of the Paris Agreement.
Our work produces concrete recommendations for how countries can improve their commitments, and provides an international platform to highlight the experiences of vulnerable populations. The platform also provides needed information for the general public (like you!) to use in interactions with their own governments.
